MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Fortune Magazine and the research firm Great Place to Work have named Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare and St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital to its 2016 Best Workplaces in Health Care list.
More than 600 employees were surveyed from Le Bonheur.
Overall, 98% said they take great pride in what they and the company do in the community, while 96% said they love the atmosphere.
“I believe we are unique because of the true ‘family’ atmosphere that exists among the associates,” said one employee. “We work, play and pray as a family would and stand beside each other to always make sure our patients are taken care of.”
According to the survey, 99% of employees at St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital said they take great pride in what they do.
Approximately 96% said they love the atmosphere created inside the hospital.
Texas Health Resources, Encompass Home Health And Hospice, Preferred Home Health Care & Nursing Services, Southern Ohio Medical Center, Matrin’s Point Health Care, Baptist Health South Florida, Scripps Health and Healthcare Resource Group were also named to the top 10.
