MEMPHIS, Tenn. — $2.5 million dollars went into making improvements at a local hospital.
Methodist North Hospital used the money to expand its lobby and do work to the exterior.
Some people wanted the money to go toward other projects for the hospital. Others said it was a good investment that needed to happen.
The chief operating officer of the hospital said this investment is necessary because the lobby is the first thing patients see when they walk in.
The hospital also invested into several units where the patients sleep and eat. People who live there said they’re excited about everything going on there.
There are future projects taking place in 2016.
