MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The Mid-South man who was added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted list this week has been apprehended in Memphis, authorities announced on Friday.
Leonard Porterfield was taken into custody by agents with the TBI, U.S. Marshals Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force, Memphis Police Department and Shelby County Sheriff’s Office.
The suspect was wanted by both Covington and Memphis police departments on several charges including aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and evading arrest.
Authorities said he should be considered armed and dangerous.
