MEMPHIS, Tenn. — An Arkansas man pleaded guilty to the murder of a 5-year-old boy whose body was found underneath the floor of a home in 2022.
Nathan Bridges, 34, pleaded guilty Monday to First-Degree Murder and First-Degree Battery, Arkansas State Police said Thursday.
The body of Blu Rolland was found Dec. 16, 2022, the day he would have turned 6, underneath the floor of his family’s home in Moro, near Marianna in Lee County. Investigators believed he may have been there for some time.

Bridges was arrested along with Ashley Rolland, 30, the mother of Blue Rolland, and a 6-year-old girl who also lived in the home. The girl was taken to a hospital in stable condition, police said at the time.
Rolland is still awaiting trial in Lee County on charges of Capital Murder, Permitting Child Abuse, Abuse of a Corpse, Tampering with Physical Evidence, Endangering the Welfare of a Minor, and Battery.
