(Hardin County, TN) The search is over for a missing McNairy County nurse and grandmother.
Police found the body of Nancy Weeks late Sunday afternoon in Hardin County.
Weeks disappeared Friday night. She was last seen with her ex-boyfriend at a concert in Wayne County, TN.
Her estranged boyfriend killed himself by drinking poison early Saturday morning. Investigators say Weeks’ phone and keys were found inside his home.
Deputies haven’t released any information on how Weeks died, but her family tells News Channel 3 she was shot twice in the head. Her body was found on the ground outside her car in a wooded area in Savannah, TN.
Family members also tell us Weeks and her ex-boyfriend had a violent history. The family says he stalked her and hit her on several occasions.
