(Bolivar, TN) Hardeman County deputies found the SUV of a Mid-South mother and her three daughters.
They disappeared Friday sparking an intensive search involving several law enforcement agencies.
Now the big question is: where is Joann Bain and where are her three girls?
“We’re just all hoping and praying that she can be found safe and all the kids and all can come back safe.”
Linda Kirkland lives in Whiteville, TN and is a cook at the Country Cafe. She says the Bain family were regulars, “They were very pleasant people, Joann, her husband and all the kids. They always came in, usually sometimes during the week and a lot on the weekends.”
Joann Bain, along with 14-year-old Adrienne, 12-year-old Alexandria and 8-year-old Kyliyah were last seen Friday morning at their home on Whiteville-Newcastle Rd.
Their disappearance touched off an intensive search Sunday afternoon witnessed by Chris Tacker.
Tacker owns property one quarter mile from the house, “A lot of cops, undercover vehicles, I’m assuming they’re TBI riding back and forth. A helicopter flew over, did a couple of circles, like 30 minutes ago.”
Jackie Byers works nearby at Wilson Well Company.
Monday morning deputies asked her to check her security video for anything suspicious.
Byers says the video didn’t show much. “Only three vehicles came by this road, by the company, and all of them are SUV’s and it’s all kind of dark. So it’s basically going to be a guessing game between those three.”
People in Hardeman County hope missing posters plastered everywhere will jog someone’s memory and help end a nightmare.
“I mean it’s terrible. Hopefully they’re alive and well, and there was no foul play.”
The Hardeman County Sheriff’s Department is releasing little information about the recovered SUV.
They are only saying that it is registered to Joann Bain.
