Mississippi No Longer At The Bottom of Child Well-Being Rankings

For the first time in several years, Mississippi does not rank at the bottom of the list when it comes to the well-being of its children.

The newest Kids Count data ranks Mississippi 49th, Arkansas at 40th and Tennessee at 39th.

The rankings take items like poverty, health, education and unemployment into consideration.

New Mexico ranks 50th, but New Hampshire tops the list at number one.
