(Memphis) Mo’ Money finds itself in the midst of another lawsuit.
WREG Investigators discovered that Value Bank of Texas is suing Mo’ Money, UP2U, the IRS and the state of Illinois.
Value Bank of Texas is where a number of refunds were deposited.
Their attorney says all of the parties named in the suit have been trying to access more than $1,000,000 that was still in the bank.
Value Bank says it wants a judge to sort it out.
Value Bank severed ties with Mo’ Money earlier this year.
The suit was originally filed in state court in Texas, but attorneys representing the IRS had it removed to Federal Court.
A hearing is set for December.
