(Memphis, TN) The man behind Mo’ Money Taxes has responded to claims of tax fraud.

Markey Grandberry filed paperwork in court recently, answering to the government’s complaint against him and his Memphis-based tax business.

The U.S. Justice Department filed suit against Granberry in early April, citing he and his partner ran a tax business where workers often filed fraudulent returns, came up with bogus credits and offered deceptive loan products.

Granberry has denied the allegations.
