(Memphis) What would you do if you caught a grown man in your house with your 13-year old daughter?
You might do what one Memphis mom did.
Police say she chased the guy down to make sure he went to jail.
Tevin Allen tried to run but he couldn’t hide.
Police say the 20-year-old used Facebook to hook-up with a 13-year-old girl.
According to court documents, he went to her place, in a gated community in southeast Memphis and had sex with her when the mother was not at home.
The mother came home unexpectedly and was in the bathroom when she heard someone running down the stairs.
That’s when she says she saw Allen trying to make a quick getaway.
Police say the mother asked her daughter what kind of car he was driving and went after him!
Police say she followed him down Winchester while talking to police on the phone at the same time.
She even flagged down officers who caught-up with Allen and arrested him in front of a liquor store on Mount Moriah Extended.
The mother didn’t want to talk to us on camera but her neighbor, who also has a 13-year-old daughter, said the woman did what any mother would do.
“Good for her!” said Marina Hudakova. “If something like that happened to my daughter, I would kill the guy maybe?”
Allen’s not dead but facing statutory rape charges and a $10,000 bond.
