(Atlanta, GA) New research shows more and more homes in the U.S. are ditching the landline phone service in a move to go wireless.
The Centers for Disease Control says it’s happening mostly in rural areas.
That’s where as many as 50% of households have abandoned home phone service.
The state with the most cell-phone only households is Idaho.
And the state where you’re most likely to find a landline is New Jersey, where almost 80% of households have one.
