(Earle, AR)   There have been six fights in the past few days in Earle, AR, almost all of them with parents involved.

The population here barely breaks three thousand, the pool is the only place for kids to go and things keep heating up.

Over the weekend, a 31-year-old woman was throwing punches at a 17-year-old student.

Chelette Waters now has broken glasses and bruises where the adult bit into her arm.

It was a similar story last Friday night, when a mother encouraged her daughter as she appeared to beat a high school freshman, even ripping her clothes off.

“It’s getting out of hand and we’re going to put a stop to it,” said Earle Police Captain Rodney Davis

Police said the adults will be charged along with a few others, and they don’t remember anything quite like this.

“Parents involved in most every case,” said Davis.

Chelette’s grandmother, Shirley Chase, said she raised a good student who also works part-time and isn’t violent.
