NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The CMA Music Festival proved to be hotter than organizers expected.

News Channel 5 in Nashville reported Vanderbilt University Medical Center said they treated 299 people due to the heat.

Friday they treated 206.

In all, more than 825 people had to be treated during the CMA Music Festival.

That’s double the number they treated the previous year.

CMA officials said they were proactive in helping country music lovers stay cool by providing free filtered water.
