MEMPHIS, Tenn. — The National Weather service has issued a Severe Thunderstorm Watch for counties in West Tennessee.
The watch was in effect until 8 p.m. Sunday; it is now expired.
In our viewing area, the affected counties are Fayette, Haywood, Hardeman and McNairy.
The watch for Shelby, Tipton and Crockett counties has been canceled.
Meanwhile, Lee and Phillips counties in Arkansas were under a Flash Flood Warning until 4:30 p.m.
Rain and some thunder was moving through Shelby County Sunday afternoon, but nothing was severe.
