(Ripley, TN) Darius Mitchell has been captured after being added to the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation’s Most Wanted list last week.
Marshals captured Mitchell at his father’s house in Ripley around 8:30 Sunday night.
He was wanted for attempted murder in the March 23 shooting of a man in Lauderdale County. Investigators say he chased a vehicle and shot the driver in the face. That victim survived.
Mitchell is being held in the Lauderdale County Jail.
