MEMPHIS, Tenn. — MPD said officers are investigating a deadly shooting early Sunday morning.
Authorities said the shooting happened near the intersection of Mt. Moriah Road and Ridgeway, in Southeast Memphis. Two people were shot, one of the victims was pronounced dead on the scene, while the other was taken to Regional One in critical condition.
It is unclear what led to the shooting.
Memphis Police said this is an ongoing investigation.
