MPD: Woman stabbed to death in Frayser

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said officers are investigating the stabbing death of a Frayser woman early Saturday morning.

According to MPD, officers responded to a wounding call around 2 a.m. in the 3300 block of Denver. When officers arrived, they located a woman suffering from multiple stab wounds. The victim died from her injuries. Additionally, Memphis Police said there was a second victim on the scene, he is listed in critical condition.

There was a second injured victim on the scene. He is listed as critical.

The detained male, Keenon Owens 27, was arrested and charged with Second Degree Murder and Criminal Attempt Felony to wit: Second Degree Murder.

MPD said the preliminary information indicated this was a domestic violence situation.
