MURFREESBORO, Tenn. — Two Middle Tennessee State University students were arrested after reportedly shooting a pellet gun near spectators at a high school soccer game.

The Rutherford County Sheriff’s Office told WTVF Mohamad Nasoah Al-Dahan and Khaled Mahfouz were taken into custody Thursday evening after the shooting at the Riverdale High School girl’s soccer game.

A Resource Officer at the game heard the shots and then turned to see the barrel of the gun sticking our of the car before the suspects drove away.

The Officers quickly pursued the vehicle and were able to pull them over.

The pellet gun was found in the floorboard.

Thankfully no one was hurt from the shooting or during the arrest.

Both men were charged with felony reckless endangerment with a weapon.

Bond was set at $25,000 each.
