Two injured, 1 killed in multi-vehicle wreck in North Shelby County

SHELBY COUNTY, Tenn. —  The Shelby County Sheriff’s Office and Tennessee Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a multi-vehicle crash that left one person dead and two others injured.

According to the report obtained by WREG, a 2001 Buick sedan was traveling southbound on Highway 385 when it crossed over the median into the northbound lanes hitting a 2004 Jeep Liberty.

The driver of the Jeep Liberty died from his injuries while his passenger and the driver of the Buick were injured. They were rushed to the Regional Medical Center in critical condition.

The crash shut down a section of Highway 385.
