(Memphis) A man has been charged in the shooting death of a Memphis Police Officer.

21-year-old Traveno Campbell is accused of killing Officer Martoiya Lang during a shooting in Northeast Memphis on Friday.

Campbell is also accused of injuring Lang’s partner, Officer William Vrooman.

The shooting happened when the officers attempted to serve a drug warrant at a home on Mendenhall Cove.

Campbell is charged with First Degree Murder and Attempted First Degree Murder. He was shot by the officers and remains in critical condition at The Med.

26-year-old Willie Braddock has also been charged in the case. Investigators say he was inside the house at the time of the shooting.

Braddock is facing drug possession charges.

Police say they found him inside a bedroom with several bags of marijuana.
