MILLINGTON, Tenn. — A Millington man is being held on $1 million bond after deputies say he fired shots into a house full of people Tuesday.

Warrick McBride, 37, faces five counts of attempted first-degree murder and five counts of reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.

People inside the house on O’Neill Drive told Shelby County Deputies a car drove up to their home, and a passenger, identified as McBride, started shooting.

Neighbors said there were children in that house at the time.

One woman who just moved in the neighborhood said she heard 20-30 shots and grabbed her two small children and took cover in a bathroom.

She didn’t want to be identified.

“I was just like, yeah, it’s really loud. Stay in the bathroom,” said the woman.

Deputies said at least three bullets went inside the house next to hers, but no one was hurt.

The victims were able to identify two other people in the car, Ronald Stewart and LaSharra Stewart. Both were charged with multiple counts of criminal attempt first-degree murder and reckless endangerment with a deadly weapon.
