BARTLETT, Tenn. — Vandals struck a Bartlett park Monday night, and city leaders are fed up.
The city said this is the second time in a month the newly renovated public bathrooms at W.J. Freeman Park have been vandalized.
The damage from this week’s incident totals about $1,000.
The vandals tore shingles off the roof, broke a soap dispenser and ripped a sink from the wall, which broke pipes and water lines.
The bathrooms were cleaned up Tuesday evening.
The city said it caught the kids that vandalized the bathrooms last time, but it needs the public’s help this time.

The city renovated the two public bathrooms, each with a men’s and women’s restroom, at the park this year. Between the two bathrooms, the renovations cost about $255,000.
