MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person was killed and another was wounded after a double shooting that happened in North Memphis on Tuesday afternoon, according to Memphis Police.
MPD said the shooting happened near the intersection of Ayers and Griffith Place. Initially, MPD said two men were taken from the scene by private vehicles to Regional One Hospital and are listed in critical condition.
Later Memphis Police provided an update about the victims and said one of them died from their injuries, and the other shooting victim was upgraded to non-critical condition.
Memphis Police said there isn’t any suspect information at this time.
