Be prepared for heavy rains and possible flooding today. Northwest Arkansas is already in deep water. Check out these pictures from our sister station in Fort Smith, Arkansas, KFSM:
Flooding isn’t expected to be as bad in our area, but there is still a flash flood watch in effect for counties throughout east Arkansas, west Tennessee and north Mississippi. Rainfall could get up to 4 inches in some places, and winds may reach 40 mph. The heaviest rain is expected to fall around 6 p.m. Stay off the roads this evening if you can. Keep track of the storms with our interactive radar or by downloading our weather app.
