MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A Whitehaven man will be in court after police say he ran from officers serving an arrest warrant.
Marcus Stallworth, 22, is facing several charges, including resisting official detention.
Police said they were trying to arrest Stallworth at the Peppertree Apartments yesterday when he ran off, still wearing handcuffs.
He was captured after a short foot pursuit and a scuffle with officers.
Stallworth was treated for minor injuries, and two Memphis Police officers were taken to the hospital to be checked out.
