MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Two police officers were taken to the hospital after an accident early Friday morning.
The four-car crash happened around 8 a.m. on New Allen near Frayser Boulevard and Frayser Raleigh.
According to police, their officers were sitting at the light when a driver heading south on New Allen turned eastbound onto Frayser and struck another vehicle.The impact sent one of those vehicle into a nearby Dodge Caravan and the MPD squad car.
Both officers were taken to Methodist Hospital North for treatment. They are both expected to be okay.
