Oh no, that’s on sale now! Find out which retailers have price adjustment policies

MEMPHIS, Tenn. – It’s happened to all of us.  You buy something and just a few days later, the same item goes on sale.

The good news is, you’re not stuck with that original purchase price if the retailer offers price adjustments.

Here’s a quick guide of some retailer policies:

Macy’s – Offers price adjustments within 14 days of a purchase and will refund the difference to your original form of payment. However, if you bought the item in the store, you can’t have used a coupon.

Gap/Banana Republic /Old Navy – Fourteen days on full-price items

Children’s Place – Will refund the difference if the item is discounted within seven days of your purchase.

Best Buy – Will match the price on merchandise if it lowers the price within 15 days of purchase.

Target – Offers price adjustments if you find it for less in the following week`s Target ad or within seven days at Target.com.

Walmart – Will provide a price adjustment if the price changes within seven days of your purchase.

Most retailers post their price adjustment policies online. You will often find them near information on returns. The back of a receipt is also a good place to check.
