MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One man was killed and another was taken to Regional Medical Center after a shooting in the 1400 block of North Hollywood.
Witnesses say two men were arguing at a gas pump when one pulled a gun.
It’s unclear if the men knew each other, but witnesses say one man started running across Hollywood, while the other stood at the gas station shooting toward the man hitting him at least five times.
He was rushed to the hospital but was later pronounced dead.
The second person left the scene, but was later taken to the hospital from the 1300 block of Bryan.
It is unclear how or when the second person was shot.
A woman driving by the intersection said her car was hit by bullets, and a window shattered, but she was ok.
Witnesses say the gunman showed little care as he opened fire with several people in the intersection.
Police immediately said they had not located the gunman, but the black car remained at the gas station after the shots were fired.
