MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A second suspect wanted in connection to a shooting in Atoka has been taken into custody.

Terrel Tate turned himself in to authorities Thursday morning just hours after his co-defendant, Dontarius Woods, was arrested.

Agents with the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation said both men were at a party when a fight broke out inside the home and someone pulled a gun.

A 19-year-old was shot and rushed to the hospital.

He is expected to be okay.

Both were booked into the Tipton County Jail and charged with attempted first-degree murder.
