MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A part of Interstate 40 is closed while police investigate a shots fired call.
According to the Memphis Police Department, they received a shots fired in the area of I-40 eastbound and Whitten Road around 6:30 p.m.
MPD confirmed no one was shot but officers shutdown the eastbound lane of the interstate, from Sycamore View to Whitten Road, to investigate
According to MPD’s tweet, the person responsible is believed to be driving a small gray sedan.
