KINGSTON, Ontario — A heartbreaking photo on Reddit shows the tender moment a husband and wife, both terminally ill, come together to say their goodbyes.
Reddit user mininni posted the picture of their parents, saying the father was admitted to the ICU after being diagnosed with lung cancer three times.
Not too long after that the mother suffered a heart attack.
Both were placed on life support.
Though neither was conscious, doctors decided to put them together in the same room so they could be together.
According to the Reddit post, the father died in early May.
The mother has since been released from the hospital.
