GERMANTOWN, Tenn. — Photographer Ashley Wheeler had the opportunity to capture the final moments of a preemie’s life this past Friday.
Baby Dylan was a “micro-preemie” born on March 15 at only 25 weeks old.
Earlier last week, doctors at Methodist Germantown told Dylan’s family that they had done everything in their power to save Dylan’s life.
The family made the difficult decision to remove Dylan from life support.
Wheeler was able to capture Dylan’s final moments, but his family needs help. The family’s insurance company will not cover the cost of Dylan’s funeral expenses because he was under six months old.
They started a GoFundMe page to help cover costs. Click here to help Dylan’s family bury their baby boy.
Several people have already gone to Facebook to show support for the family and Ashley’s work.
