MEMPHIS, Tenn. — St. Patrick’s Day is still five days away, but that didn’t stop plenty of people from dressing up in their best shade of green for the annual Silky O’Sullivan St. Patrick’s Day Parade. This is the parade’s 43rd year. The king of this year’s parade is none other than George Klein, close friend and former Humes High School classmate of Elvis Presley. The parade is one of several events leading up to the grand finale celebration on St. Patrick’s Day, which is Thursday.
