MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Superheroes swept in to save the day Wednesday afternoon at Le Bonheur Children’s Hospital, where they interacted with patients and families.

The famous comic book characters included Batman, Catwoman, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, the Joker, the Flash, Green Lantern, Hawkgirl, Thor, Ironman, Captain America, Spiderman, Loki and Miss America.

Comic book artists Greg Cravens, Charles Ettinger and Jim Hall joined the superheroes at the hospital to give live cartoon drawing demonstrations.

Aside from meeting their heroes, kids also participated in superhero-themed crafts and games.

This isn’t the first time a team of superheroes has answered the call to join forces at the hospital.

In 2014, they rappelled down the building as a Halloween surprise.
