(Knoxville, TN) The Pi Kappa Alpha Fraternity campus chapter has been suspended indefinitely after an agreement was reached today with the University of Tennessee Knoxville.

The fraternity pleaded guilty to seven specific charges of misconduct related to the September 22 incident in which a student from Memphis nearly died due to an alcohol enema.

Charges are also pending for an August 31 incident.

The Pi Kappa Alpha house has to be vacated by 5 p.m., October 7.

The Student Judicial Affairs agreement specified UT will not consider allowing the fraternity to reorganize at UT until spring, 2015 or later.

Since alcohol enemas allow the liquid to bypass the liver, more alcohol gets into the blood stream.
