TATE COUNTY, Miss. — Authorities have requested help identifying two suspects wanted in a violent home invasion in Tate County. According to reports, several people were inside a home in the 1700 block of Mays Road early Friday morning when two armed men made their way inside. They assaulted the individuals, tied them up and then robbed them before taking off in one of the victims’ 2008 GMC Sierra. According to the Tate County Sheriff Department, this is the second time in a week that this house has been broken into. The first time the suspects broke in,  the homeowners were not home, and the suspects got away with money. The second time, the suspects had on masks. They beat, choked and tied up the son, then beat and tied up the father. The suspects took money and credit cards and stole the victim’s truck. The truck was recovered in DeSoto County.
