MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A local woman told WREG she has filed a lawsuit against the Tennessee-based Pilot Corporation.

She claimed she hasn’t been getting paid for overtime work for years.

Avrion Taylor used to work at a Pilot Travel Center.

Taylor joined other employees across the country and filed a collective lawsuit in federal court.

The group claimed management changed their time sheets to show they worked less than they actually did, and the company had a policy where employees had to work off-the-clock.

They said they only wanted to be compensated for their work.

Recently a Judge ruled 80,000 other employees who worked from April 2011 to April 2014 could join the suit.

Pilot refused to comment on employee matters.
