MEMPHIS, Tenn — For a fourth consecutive game the Grizzlies were without ninth overall pick Zach Edey, yet the Grizzlies didn’t miss his presence as they dismantled Dallas 108-88.

Early in the first quarter, Memphis created several opportunities by pressuring the basketball and forcing Dallas into turnovers.

Applying the pressure first was guard Scotty Pippen Jr. who came away with five steals along with 19 points and 7 assists for Memphis.

In his best shooting night in both Salt Lake City and Las Vegas, GG Jackson knocked down 9-19 from the floor and led the Grizzlies with a double-double scoring 23 points and grabbing 11 rebounds.

Though Edey didn’t take court, his fellow draftmates Cam Spencer and Jaylen Wells both scored in double figures. Spencer finished with 11 points while Wells tallied 13.

As a team, Memphis shot 54.5 percent from the field and forced the Mavericks into 27 turnovers.

The Grizzlies are back in action Wednesday against the Orlando Magic.
