(Memphis) Memphis police are looking for the people who shot a pizza delivery driver on the 3100 block of Cypress Lake.

Witnesses told police three people started shooting 25-year-old Corey Leavy late Thursday night when he tried to make a delivery.

One of Leavy’s best friends is also a delivery driver.

He was too scared to be identified, but told News Channel 3, “One house, one order could change your whole life. Look at my best friend – one house, one run.”

Leavy’s friend said all food delivery drivers know the dangers, but they usually take the job because they need the money.

“When you got a family, it’s a sacrifice you have to make until you find something better,” he said.

The friend said Leavy has a baby girl he’s trying to raise and was planning on enrolling in school this fall.

Police don’t have a good description of the shooters.

Leavy was taken to the Med and is listed in critical condition.

If you have any information on the shooting, call Crime Stoppers at 528-CASH.
