HELENA-WEST HELENA, Ark. — A man is in custody, suspected of stealing at least 30 guns from a Helena-West Helena home.
A warrant was issued for Keith Roberts, 18, on March 8 in connection with the theft.
Monday, police said they took him into custody after executing a search warrant on a house in the city.
Police said the guns were stolen from a house belonging to a former Helena-West Helena police chief who was a gun collector.
The chief died about four years ago, and a relative of his currently lives in the house.
The homeowner told officers someone broke into the safe where the guns were stored.
