MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police have identified the teen killed Saturday in Orange Mound as D’Anthony Obee.
Police said D’Anthony was unresponsive, suffering from a gunshot wound, when police arrived at the scene in the 700 block of Semmes Street early Saturday morning.
He died about two hours later at Regional Medical Center, police said.
Investigators learned D’Anthony was shot after he and another victim were approached by two men who asked them who they were. D’Anthony and the unidentified second victim tried to run away, but the suspects chased them and shot D’Anthony, police said.
Police are still looking for those two suspects.
