MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are investigating a fatal crash at Elvis Presley and Shelby Drive near the Southland Mall Saturday night.
Police say an 80-year-old woman was driving a 2000 Mazda southbound, pulling out from a private drive to make a left turn to go east on Shelby Drive when a 19991 Chevrolet hit the driver’s door.
The 80-year-old woman died at the scene.
The second victim was transported one to Regional Medical Center in non-critical condition.
At this time, no charges were placed on the second driver.
