MEMPHIS, Tenn. – Memphis police are investigating a shooting that happened in the 1300 block of Semmes Avenue Saturday night.
A witness told police he was sitting in his living room watching TV when he heard three to four gunshots.
When he looked out his window, he saw a man lying in the yard.
Police tell WREG, the witness called the police but say he didn’t come outside until police made the scene.
Another witness told police they heard the victim yelling on the phone making threats and using profanity.
After that, the witness says they walked to their house, and when they came back they saw the victim lying on the ground.
The victim was pronounced dead at the scene.
No arrests have been made at this time.
