LAWRENCEBURG, Tenn. — Emergency crews were called to the Lawrenceburg Public Square on Friday after a building collapsed.

The incident reportedly happened around 1 p.m., and it’s unclear if anyone was inside at the time.

WTVF in Nashville reported investigators are still trying to determine what caused the building to collapse.

Another report from WSMV,  indicated the building was under renovation and a support beam was accidentally moved.

Those reports have not been verified.

Pictures coming from the scene showed debris scattered across the street and power lines on the ground.

At least two vehicles were damaged.

Lawrenceburg is located just 82 miles outside of Nashville with a population of just under 14,000.
