***JUNE 29 UPDATE***

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Three people have been arrested in connection to a home invasion shooting at a Raleigh apartment complex early June 28.

Joshua Beason, Decodeo Moore and Malik Williams are facing charges of aggravated robbery, aggravated assault and aggravated burglary, police said, for the home invasion and shooting that put a man critically injured in the hospital.

Police said Moore and Williams attempted to rob a woman at her car in the parking lot of the Jennifer Meadows Apartments. When the armed suspects then walked the woman to her apartment for the money she told them was in the apartment, a man living in the apartment attacked the suspects in defense.

The man living in the apartment attempted to get the weapon from the suspects, and shots were fired, police said. He was shot two times, and the two suspects showed up at Methodist North Hospital with gunshot wounds several minutes later.

Surveillance video shows the suspects’ vehicle, driven by Beason, in the apartment complex leaving the scene, police said.

All three men are charged with robbery, assault and burglary.

MEMPHIS, Tenn. — One person was taken to the Regional Medical Center early Friday morning following a shooting in Raleigh.

It reportedly happened on Barbara Circle in the Jennifer Meadows Apartments complex.

Police said the call came in as a shooting and home invasion call. When they arrived they found a man had been shot but he was able to also fire several rounds at the three suspects.

Several minutes after the shooting, two other shooting victims arrived at Methodist North Hospital. It’s unclear if those individuals were innocent bystanders or the suspects.

All of the victims were critically injured.

WREG’s Melissa Moon said she saw a white Kia parked in the middle of the road with a shattered passenger side window.

A neighbor on the scene told WREG that he heard about five gunshots this morning and saw a man sitting in the passenger seat yelling in pain. A woman and three small children were reportedly also inside that vehicle at the time, but they apparently were not injured.

Police were also seen shining their lights into a first floor apartment.
