MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A man broke into First Tennessee Bank on 4180 Elvis Presley Boulevard on Sunday evening and attempted to open a safe, police said. The suspect broke in through the rear glass door of the bank but fled when the alarm went off, police said. However, he returned shortly after. Video surveillance shows him prying the alarm control panel off the wall and trying to open the safe. Police described the suspect as a black male with a thin build who was wearing a dark-colored hoodie with white writing on the front and back, dark-colored pants and white shoes.
