MEMPHIS, Tenn. — A pregnant woman was arrested and charged after setting her ex-boyfriend’s backyard on fire.

Crystal Brown was picked up after her ex called police on Sunday.

He told investigators he watched her jump over the fence, and then set a red blanket on fire using a lighter.

Brown dropped the blanket on the ground, jumped back over the fence and took off in a black Chevrolet Tahoe.

Before getting away investigators said she set another fire in the yard adjacent to the home.

The victim was able to put both blazes out by himself.

Police said Brown is no stranger to the law.

Back in September, she called police asking them to remove the children she shares with the victim from the home.

That same day, she returned to the residence and was seen by neighbors setting her ex’s storage shed on fire.

Brown had an active warrant for arson in her name when she was arrested for the second incident on Sunday.

She was arrested at a home on Chambliss.

In court on Monday, Brown was charged with domestic assault and bodily harm as well as setting fire to personal property.

Her bond was set at $15,000.
