MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Police are searching for the four suspects who allegedly robbed a man outside of a home Sunday evening.

The victim told investigators he was outside a home in the 2900 block of Claudette when four men robbed him.

“Some people came and took his backpack,” said the man’s young daughter.

She told WREG the backpack contained $2,500 in cash, because her father was going to pay his workers for his roofing business. There were also checks and titles.

The suspects reportedly got away in a small, four-door car gold in color. The girl said a fifth person was driving.

The girl said the men hit her dad in the head with a gun, but he did not have to go to the hospital.
