MEMPHIS, Tenn. — Memphis Police said they need your help solving a homicide from October 2014.
According to the release, officers were called to help with crowd control at Wellons and Glenalp.
Memphis Fire crews were already on the scene helping a man they said went into cardiac arrest.
The 21-year-old victim, Samuel Johnson, was taken to Methodist North Hospital where he was pronounced dead.
The following day the case took a turn when the Shelby County Medical Examiner ruled Johnson’s death a homicide resulting from a gunshot wound.
A camera in the area did capture a picture of a car in the area that police said could be the suspect or someone who knows more about the case.
Police said they do not have any suspect information, and urged anyone who might know anything about this crime to call Crime Stoppers at (901) 528-CASH.
