FARMINGTON, Conn. — A patient admitted Tuesday evening to UConn Health Center is being evaluated for a possible Ebola infection.
WTIC-TV reports the patient was admitted to John Dempsey Hospital Tuesday with a fever.
Ebola could not be ruled out because of the symptoms and because the patient recent arrival from Liberia on April 30.
The patient is said to be in good condition.
Liberia was declared Ebola free this past Saturday after 42 days since the last Ebola related death.
